About Me

I have moved around a lot during my life, and therefore have acquired a need for adventure. I thrive on change, and always need to be learning about new stuff to function. I am adventurous and curious, and like to have a good time. I like understanding what makes one person do something or do something else, what makes people who they are because of their culture, their opinions, or just because of who they are. Because I have moved around so much, I am not attached to one country and consider myself to be international, rather then be from one particular country. I said in my description that I was from Canada, because I think it is the country that represents the most my person. I believe in generosity, and that's how I distinguish someone's intelligence, through the knowledge they can give.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning new languages and visiting new places! Through the comprehension of a new language, I get to understand a new culture, and meet people who have a total different perspective on life, and a different upbringing! I want to learn more about the world around me, but also get to know people!

My main objective is to meet awesome people, who love diversity, just as much as I do!

I knew about couch surfing but had never used it. After hearing about it from several people in the last couple of months, I've decided to try it. I always find myself going on trips and wanting to meet the people. What better way to meet people then this site?

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the books written by Kate Dicamelo. Though they are a bit childish now, they make me think. I love reading in general. It's one of the best ways to learn a new language! I love reading a book that gives m inspiration to write.

I like Queen and the Beatles.
I like Pulp Fiction and song at the beginning by Maria Mckee.

Teach, Learn, Share

Stay curious. Always question. There are so many sides to a story, to a single word, to a conversation. So many small ways to orient a thought. One thought becomes so many, and then your head explodes with ideas. There will never be just one answer. Trust yourself to have a point of view. Go on a trip alone. See things from your own point of view. Write. Always write, or only sometimes if you don't have the time or the patience. Write what ever comes to your mind, instantly no second guessing. Don't think to much, you are writing fro yourself. A couple seen from now you'll see how much your knowledge/way of thinking has changed from then, and you will understand yourself better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my passion for learning languages and meeting new people. I am at the same time quiet and and patient and love hearing about people's adventures. I have a couple of good stories too that I'd love to share with openminded people who love diversity and exploring the world just as much as I do!
