Hi my name is Esther from Australia. I am currently travelling solo around the world working and exploring. I would describe myself as a fun loving caring individual with a positive outlook on life and a love for people. I love new experiences and enjoy learning about new cultures, languages and people. I have currently been travelling for about 10 months working in different places as a social worker and workaways. I am currently studying Spanish which I believe is such a beautiful language and would love to improve with anyone who would like to practice with me. I love travelling and meeting new people!

I love to trek, swim, rock climb, camp and be outdoors in nature. I love music, dancing, socialising, cooking and the Spanish language which I am currently learning. Im currently in South America and have been travelling for about 10 months.

I joined Couchsurfing because of all the amazing people I have met that are part of the Couchsurfing community. I would love to connect with some like minded and interesting people. Im currently in South America and have a few months left and would love to learn and see as much as I can of the beauty this country has to offer. As I am travelling alone so I thought joining would be a great way to improve my Spanish, explore new places and meet amazing people in the countries I travel to. Music, Movies, and Books

I love to dance particularly belly dance and salsa but I love all types of music especially live music. I love that the scope of music is so large and im constantly discovering new types that I love.

I love to read and im a secret book nerd, its hard to chose favourites but at the moment I am loving Haruki Murakami while I travel and Ishmael Beah.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been very lucky in my life and done some amazing things. Everyday I am grateful for having the opportunities I have. One of the most amazing experiences I have had was working as a doemstic violence social worker in South Africa. I could not have met more beautiful people, or fault the experience in any way. The resilience, strength, love and faith these people express no matter what they have experienced is incredible. I lived and worked with some of the best people I have ever met in one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been.
