About Me

An inquisitive, fun-loving culture vulture interested in getting to know the world and its interesting cultures and people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up about four years ago with the idea and hope of hosting people from all over the world and getting to know a lot of different cultures and backgrounds. However, due to living circumstances I haven't been able to host anyone yet. Hopefully soon when I find a new place to live in the Netherlands!

For now I recently had my first experience as a CS guest, which was and IS amazing! It's all about cultural exchange for me and I think it's so inspiring and enriching to get to know you couch surfer, everyone with their unique personality and story.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: too much to name. Classical rock, alternative, indie, country, folk, reggae, jazz, classical, world music... You name it.

Movies: too many to mention as well ;) Genres: psychological thriller, drama, comedy, fantasy, adventure, cult movies...

Books: thrillers, mystery, psychology, music, travelling books, cooking books ( ;) ), adventures, history, real life stories...

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: about the insights and experiences I have gained while travelling and studying intercultural communication (which is Learn and Share at the same time! :) )

Learn: about other people's background, story, experiences, passions, norms, values, etc.

Share: a good time, smiles and laughs and some love for one another

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to get to know hosts, as everyone has their own unique story in life. I'd love to share great conversation, my own culture and story, and most of all: a good time. I know a thing or two about cooking, music, culture and sightseeing (wherever I go, I'd like to get to know as much as possible about a place and the people and get to know it as a local. Even details fascinate me!). I'd love to share these things with my hosts and hopefully give them a good impression of my country and culture ;).
