ABOUT ME

I'm a music therapist, music composer/arranger, sound designer, using music to help people's mental, physical, social, emotional needs.
Also a dedicated backpacker, love travelling around the world and meeting new friends all around the world. I'm adventurous and love trying out new things, love outdoor activities, love nature!!
Music has been a huge part of my life, I'm interested in studying music in different cultures around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

-Love meeting out Couchsurfer around the world especially artists, musician and dedicated backpackers
-Some serious music jamming together!
-Sharing my culture and music knowledge with other Couchsurfer
-Practice Cantonese/Mandarin with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my CS experience so far were very enjoyable, met some great people and get to know the local culture. Especially love it when a few of my host took me off the beaten tourist track and into the wild nature! This is the best thing ever, to really get to connect with people all over the world, share stories and life together! I remember every single CSer i met and i really treasure the time we spent together. Couchsurfing has transformed the concept of travelling for me, it's all about the people I meet in a new country, there are stories associated with each host and traveller that I meet.

Interests

-My passion is mainly in music and travelling. I play most of the string instruments, currently attempting to become a Jazz pianist....I love learning new musical instruments and writing music.

-Travelling! It's addicting... I've been to around 75 countries so far and hopefully be able to hit as many more in the upcoming years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Expedition in Antarctica. Paradise on Earth, Best trip of my life.
-Chasing the Northern Lights at Norway/Sweden/Finland and saw the non stop 4 hours light display!!!
-A dream-came-true helicopter ride in New Zealand South Island Queenstown with a snowlanding on one of the alps!
-Road trip around Iceland. The glacier there were simply unbelievable!
-Multidays camping trip in China Mt. Gongga
-As a composer, the most amazing thing i've done was conducting my own composition in a concert!

Teach, Learn, Share

-Love learning different cultures and possibly different languages
-We can share all about music, from the basic music theory to any strings instruments playing. I play a bit of everything.
-Write music and jam together!!
-Hiking and surfskating in HK.
-Every Sunday I play keys on the top floor of Hong Kong's 3rd highest building in a non-denomination church, come join me if you're in HK on a Sunday morning!
