ABOUT ME

I live in the center of Amsterdam together with my kid. I regularly have a full dinner table with friends and I surprise myself that I am able to prepare food for them, out of my very very small kitchen.
UPDATE May 2016: Since the past 2 years, I am not active anymore on CS ... main reason is the boyfriend who lives far away, near by the German border. He visits me a lot and I go over there. It is difficult to see weeks beforehand if I will be available for hosting. So, I started this bad habit of not replying anymore to CS requests. Not nice, I know... I thought my profile would die slowly and without pain. But lately I got a lot of requests again (why? I have a 0% reply rate). And I think I should make a fresh start. The boyfriend still takes a lot of my time but I do miss the occasional traveler on the couch! So, per May 23 2016, I promise to get back to your request asap.

I lived in Costa Rica for a year, part of the time in a jungle house, cooking on woodfire, grating coconuts, fighting war ants. Was a scary experience at times, for a city kid.
