About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Bring a little creativity and passion to the world!
ABOUT ME
I am known to be a very positive and friendly person and love chatting to new people and making new friends.
I come from a large family of seven children and I think that has probably made me the chatty and outgoing person that I have become: You need to be loud to be heard in my family!
I enjoy having new and fun experiences and learning new things so the idea of travel is very exciting to me!
I haven't yet done any major independent travelling as an adult so I do really feel like I have the whole world to explore ahead of me in my life.
PHILOSOPHY
I personally live to connect with people and the world around me and this is where I get my happiness from!
It's these connections with people and also the moments I have seen nature in this way that became a little bit of proof for me of a spiritual level to this world.
I would identify as a Christian from this stand point although I am constantly re evaluating and questioning my stance on the world and our place in it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to be a host to people from my base in Scotland and I look forward to finding the opportunity to couch surf and meet new people both in Britain and internationally!
Interests
I love theatre and hope to be a playwright after I graduate.
I enjoy seeing theatre and also going to the cinema to see films! I have even helped to produce and also acted in student films and student theatre productions on my campus.
I also love reading and actually helped to run a Jane Austen appreciation society on my campus: Jane Austen geek and proud!

Music, Movies, and Books
I personally love music like the Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, Mumford and Sons, and Belle and Sebastian. That is just a very very tiny sample of the music I listen to!!
I love books and try and read as broad a range as possible as I am studying English Literature at University.
I recently went to see Moonrise Kingdom and loved it and have become a fan of Wes Anderson: I want to watch all the past films he has made!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once went with my Dad to China and we actually missed the train connection back from Shanghai to Hong Kong and so we had to catch a sleeper bus which lasted for 2 and a half days.
Although it turned out to be a fun memory to look back on and we often enjoy thinking of that journey!
We travelled and slept in a bus full of bunk beds with twenty other people and non-stop Jacky Chan movies were played on a little television throughout the entire trip.
