Overview
About Me
I am flexible, open and accepting of people of all shapes and colors, creeds and gender identities. I am on couch surfing because I really love the idea of paying it forward and also of trusting the goodness of people. Couch surfing makes a big world feel just a little bit smaller, and its fun to make friends with people from all over. I have a little house near downtown, where I live with my two dogs. I have a 95 pound goof ball lab mix named Crosby, and a 12 pound poodle mix named Fancy Face. I have a jungle growing in my backyard and amongst the weeds grows my garden of vegetables. I'm lucky to commute to work on a bicycle every day! While I am doing the 9 to 5 I am usually plotting my next trip to see my family, or to the mountains for a weekend with my backpack or my mountain bike!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now I am enjoying meeting people traveling through. I am planning to do some traveling in Europe in the summer or fall of 2016 and hope I will meet lots of awesome hosts!
Interests
I into being active (Running, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, triathlon, kayaking, road cycling, etc.) and creative projects (pottery, painting, drawing, quiltmaking). Music amazes and inspires me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived on a 26 foot sailboat with a friend from college. We had almost no sailing experience when we got started but by the time we were done I was single handedly sailing on and off the dock. When we settled in one place I got a boat cat named Cricket who often fell from the boat when we were in dock trying to fetch the critters that lived on the rocks and pilings. She survived it, and so did I.
