About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live fully. Travel with my music. Connect in real ways to people and places. Reawaken my senses. Laugh a lot.
ABOUT ME
I am known for my laugh. I'm pretty outgoing but I also love my solitude. I've done neat things like thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, teaching English and busking in the train stations in Japan, living a simple life in the backwoods of Maine, then in the Alaskan Bush, and building my own tiny little cabin in Talkeetna, Alaska. I've played music to varying degrees of intensity over the years. I sing, write songs, and play the mountain dulcimer and flute. (See www.esthergolton.com ). I've released 3 CDs I'm quite proud of. Being a traveling singer-songwriter is fun and fulfilling and also very hard work for a meager living.
PHILOSOPHY
What a question... I live for bursts of joy, I guess, and real connections, and the opportunity to live richly and grow and absorb and grow and giggle...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've seen/done: An all night pottery wood-firing in rural Japan...
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmmm.... a dulcimer lesson? My experiences living a simple, non-electric life in the wilderness for a while? How to make twine from dried fireweed stalks?
