Overview
About Me
About me:
Equal parts wandering and wondering = one life long adventure.
Seeing somewhere new fills my heart and feeds my soul. I love being surrounded by both the physical beauty of a place, but also the people and the culture.
I love learning. When you stop learning, your mind dies.
I eat a plant-based diet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is the perfect way to travel.
At one point in my life, I travelled a lot with business- lots of generic hotels and hotel breakfasts....but you don't really get a feel for the place, where as when you enter into someones home, you are really entering into their life, and it changes how you see the place you are traveling to.
Couchsurfing is a great tool for connecting with people all around the world! The kind of people you meet, to my experience, have been honest, trusting and adventurous.
In case you are new to being a guest (and your momma never taught you different) here is a post on how to be a great guest when you go to stay at someone's house.

Interests
Modern culture: I like to talk about it, think about it, watch TV series, despise it, tweet about it, and laugh about it.
Neuroscience, nutrition, and political theory, super keen to talk to people who are interested in them as well.
Travel. That's why I am on here ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love Brussels. It is a great city, and I am happy to share what I know about this place, and give you some suggestions on what to see in Brussels.
Don't really know anything about Belgium and need a crash course? Here is a post I made about why Belgium is great (it is short, and animated with gifs. Give it a go.)
