Overview
About Me
About me: I'm an easygoing, optimistic person. I like to take things lightly and find joy in the smallest details. **Still true but upon reading this roughly 2 years later it sounds pretty cheesy huh?**
Two sayings that sum up my philosophy quite well:
Minds are like parachutes - they only function when open!
The man who made time made plenty of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've tried couchsurfing a few times already and always had a wonderful experience! Fond memories of a great week in Budapest with Eszter and Lukas (had planned to stay for a few days only but plans changed quickly :)) - discovering the thermal baths with those lovely two people, cooking great dinners, going for endless walks through a crispy Budapest, solving an Escape Game and inevitably ending up at a ruin bar again and again - great fun! Thx for making me feel at home :)
Interests
backpacking, cooking with friends, learning new languages, taking artistic fotos, going for endless walks, sports that have to do with water (swimming, diving, sailing, ...), running (currently training for my third half marathon!), ice skating, I love to invent puns (What do seamonsters eat? - Fish and ships!) :D And my latest discovery, boxing!! And since this year, I'm really into surfing as well. I'm sure we'll find something fun to do together, maybe you'll introduce me to my next favourite hobby?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a volcano in Peru, that was more than 6.000 meters high :) It got almost impossible to breath in the end, I felt like walking on the moon! A small step for mankind, but a huge leap for me ;)
