Hi I'm Estrella!

WHERE TO START?
I'm about to start the biggest trip I've ever been on. I start the 4th of February from Frankfurt to Bali and I don't have an ending date on my itinerary. I only have some flights a backpack and this acke to explore the world.
I have never done something like this before and I am scared and excited at the same time.

WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING?
I graduated in 2024 as a Robotics and Mechatronics Engineer. I've been working for a bit longer than a year as a technician in Germany.

THE BEGINNING
I was actually born in Frankfurt but I've been raised in a town near Granada, Spain.
My dad is an adventurous guy and that's where I get it from. Fun fact I'm gonna travel with the backpack he traveled with over 30years ago.

• Skiing and Snowboarding in Spain and the US
• I studied a Year in a high school in California
• Took my first solo trip to Rome and Florence in 2025
• Hiked up the highest peak from the Iberic Peninsula
• Living in Frankfurt is an adventure it self (hahaha)

I'm incredibly excited to start this trip and to meet new people that can give me insights and tips along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to get to know locals and get the best tips to make the best out of my trip.
I'm open for all the insights and tips because I'd rather trust locals than the internet.

Interests

My interests are very scatered. I don't exceed at anything but I am good a multiple hobbies.
Fun fact. I love animals but I'm alergic to most of them. For example I have a cat and I'm very alergic to her.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music interests are varieted from rap to pop to rock. Not at all into techno (I'm a bad German)

My favorite books are thrillers or psychology books. One of my Favorite books is the 'Auschwitz Ballerina', absolutely beautiful.

I'm bad at picking a favorite movie but I'm sure not into scary movies.
An absolute must for me on Christmas is the classic 'Love Actually'.
My favorite musicals are 'Mamma Mia' and 'Burlesque'.
My favorite cry movies are 'The art of racing in the rain' and 'Hachiko'.
A documentary that devastated me was 'The cove'.
And a scary movie that traumatized me was 'Megan is missing'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Safari in South Africa was mind-blowing.
Also seen humpback whales was absolutely beautiful.

I'm not sure what hosts look for but I'm and open minded girl.
