ABOUT ME

After graduating from college, I landed in Phoenix where I've been working as a teacher's aide in a kindergarten class. I am moving to Guadalajara in late July, where I'll be going to medical school for the next chapter of my life.
Right now, I live with my boyfriend, Dominic. On the weekends, we go thrift-store scavanging, always looking for good records. We are both music lovers, and like to dance or go to shows, especially jazz, rocksteady, ska, doo-wop, cumbia...so almost anything! We have only been in Phoenix for about a year, so we are still getting the hang of it, but it's a neat little city, with a lot of potential.

Lastly, we have 2 cats that are like out babies. Their names are Olaf and Zoe and they are my loves!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Finland, Sweden, Spain, and hosted in Santa Cruz--always had wonderful experiences. I find that CSers come from all walks of life, but generally share a compassionate attitude and open mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm...I can show you my dance moves!! No, really, I can play a little bit of guitar, and help out if you have any questions about English. Dominic is a really good cook. We like to write, paint, listen to music. We live simply because we are such nomads, but CSers usually don't mind... We'd love it if you can teach us a new language, or some new recipes!
