Overview
About Me
just a quick pre-note for surfers, who wanna go out in Budapest:
Be aware, that
- I do not live in downtown
- you have to be back to my home early (9pm) if I'm with children (but sometimes otherwise also;) )
- you will sleep in living room, where we actually live and it is the same as kitchen and dining room, so when we wake up, you most probably wake up - and kids go to school early etc., but even in weekends it happens that we wake up early
-please read my profile and My home section.
I only accept meaningful requests.
Budapest is a nice city, I recommend you to explore, the night is also nice - so you'd better stay somewhere else where you can explore that too.
---ABOUT ME----
A single mother of two children (age 11, 13) open to the world and enjoy meeting new people and travelling -even if I stay at home ;).
I'm hosting sometimes, because I would like to meet you, hear your stories, make a connection, maybe cook together etc. Therefore I do not prefer surfers go home very late so we cannot connect. If I'm without children, I may go out with you, if I don't have other plans.
Quantitaive work needs concentration during the week, thus nature, hiking and sightseeing, cultural events gives a good break over the weekends.
Please read "My Home" section also.
I'm able to accept guest rarely, mostly only on weekends.
On weekdays, I work, I work during the day, usually we have to leave the house in the morning. It means 7.15am on Thursdays and Fridays (8am otherwise). Please do not write a request to me, if you do not able to be back at 9pm, and leave at 7.15am (on weekdays, during summer it may change a bit). And anyways, if you arrive back to the house too late, we couldn't share stories etc ;) My home is not a hotel. Although if we have something to do, I am ok with guests, who also can do their trips alone, just be back in time please. thanks.
If I am with kids in the weekend (and we do not have other things to do, or you can join us, or you go separately) - preferably accepting families with kids. Or adults accepting my kids' schedule (early bed time etc), and house rules: I'm sorry, but you have to be back to the house 9pm latest.
If I am without kids, I may have plans for the weekend (hiking or cultural) - you can join me, or you can discover Budapest alone (I can give you pointers). I might be partly available and I can show you something in Budapest.
Even if you discover Budapest alone, I am happy to discuss the world and your experiences, when we can...
We also ave a couchsurfer cat, he is not completely ours but he usually visits us, we feed him and he likes sleeping on the couch during the day ;) But he accepts other places also. ;)
I'm triple vaccinated, and got covid June 2022.
