About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm open-minded, full of curiosity, always very busy with my studies and associations. I'm socially engaged, leader of a civic institution in Hungary and working on my PhD in Germany. Thus, I'm often travelling between Germany and Hungary, but spend more and more time in Darmstadt with my husband Martin who helps me to dwell into the quiet, relaxed-reflected life.
On the one hand I enjoy urban culture, being a changemaker (and being engaged in projects over my capacities), constantly learning by getting to know new people and getting in new situations and challenges., and seeing how I can contribute to change the world around me for better. On the other hand, I enjoy to take brake, spend time with my husband, observing the world and how the plants in our garden grow, or sitting in a train and observing how landscapes and thoughts pass by....
PHILOSOPHY
Huh... I'm a very instinctive person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After a couple of nomadic, multilocal life I'm open again for hosting in Darmstadt - nevertheless, its good to ask me in advance as I'm still travelling around a lot!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was active member of Hospitality Club, which is quite similar to CS. I had a lot of wonderful experiences through travelling and being hosted by outstanding and special people in Russia, Mallorca, Germany or through hosting in Budapest. Some years ago I changed for CS, where I had similarly positive experiences. When I'm travelling, then I 'm interested in the culture - manifested in both artistic producation and everyday practices, in getting know local people, local perspectives and getting enriched by experiences and exchange. Therefore, for me, CS is the greatest thing for meaningful travelling!
Interests
Art, reading, getting a feeling for other cities, writing books for children and playing and developing games.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like the movies of Wes Anderson. They are all a visual wonder.
But when I'm tired then I like to watch some Agatha Christie :)
Books... it is very difficult to say anything becouse as I'm working on my PhD, most of the books I read are some technical literaure on game development, built environment education, public participation, and things like that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Transsiberian, where I met my husband, and Budapest - the city which always can surprise me and show me something new and interesting.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really interested in everything! ... Martin is more expert in cooking, he likes to learn and experiment with exotic dishes, I focus more on urban culture and understanding how cities work and people living in other cities handle their everyday life.
