About Me

Hey there!

I'm Eszter, I'm a translator and an actress.

I don't want to live in the same place for the rest of my life, I want to see as much of our beautiful world as possible and meet people from different places and that's why I'm here on CS :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet as many new people and fellow travellers as possible and I think couchsurfing is the best way to do so.
I travel by myself a lot and knowing people all over the world has just been fantastic. I love those random occasions, when you meet someone in Fiji and turns out they happen to be in London at the same time as you half a year later.
That's exactly what I'm looking for :)

Interests

Wow, there's lots.
I love theatre, opera, all that fancy stuff. I grew up in Vienna, we ski to school and sing The Magic Flute every morning.
Okay no seriously: I really do like opera and theatre, watching it as well as participating on stage and back stage. It's my big passion.
I also love books, reading and writing.
I really enjoy running and cycling and I try to be as active as I can.
Which doesn't mean that you wouldn't find me in an irish pub on a friday night ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to anything really. I love all kinds of music.

My all time favourite movie is The English Patient.

And books? Hmm probably something by Nabokov. And "Eine kurze Geschichte der böhmischen Raumfahrt".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a holiday to Fiji and just stayed there. That was pretty awesome :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit of hungarian, German or french. I also love baking and making desserts and am more than happy to share my secrets :P And I know tons of unnecessary song lyrics!

I want to learn as much from you travellers as I can! Tell me your story, tell me where you're from, where you're going and what you've learned in life! Teach me a bit of your language or show me how I can be a better host or guest, I want to know it all :)

I'm happy to share what I have whether that's just the awesome matress in my flat or some stories, songs, experiences, FOOD... Anything you like :)
