ABOUT ME

I try to keep in mind (and make others feel) that "being happy" is not some long-term objective, but a sustainable state of mind. I'm sustaining it by learning and teaching at the same time, by biking and doing yoga, by standing for long minutes in front of paintings without "decoding" them etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Let me quote a favourite songwriter/singer of mine: "Beauty is an opinion, not a fact." (Kowalsky) (In the original Hungarian: "Hogy kinek mi a szép, csak vélemény, nem tény.")
Trying to respect others' tastes and form mine in the process.

Intereses

Theatre and languages are my "professional" interests. I am a teacher of English and French; right now, I work in the "Alliance Francaise de Debrecen" (a language school and cultural association) as a teacher of French. At the same time, I am a Phd-student in French dramatic literature (mostly of the XVII. century) at the Universtiy of Debrecen, so everything that is "performance" is my field.
However, what really get to me is cooking - both practically (I love spending time in the kitchen) and "theoretically" (everything related to gastronomy is within my interest: books, blogs, restaurant guides etc.).
