Overview
About Me
I am a psychology MSc student at a Dutch university, but currently living in Hungary. For most of my life I lived in Hungary which was pretty difficult financially, especially being a student, hence could never afford to travel. Nonetheless, I am extremely lucky as I have been to places thanks to Erasmus+ volunteering projects and lovely people. I also volunteer wherever I live for non-profit organizations (zero food waste and other sustainability-related initiatives and well-being) and often work on ESC projects at an eco-farm. I just like to enjoy whatever I am doing and hear what others have to say. I am very tidy and organized and can adapt to anything, having lived in communities and off-grid without heating so I am pretty flexible and satisfied with anything. Last but not least, I appreciate humor so much. Can't imagine not laughing.
Also, please don't send me generic messages, I would like to know that you've read my profile and not copy-pasting everything. I need to be able to trust you and decide. If there is no evidence in your message that you've read my profile, I won't host you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am part of many non-profit and squatting communities and I find these people extremely inspiring, supportive, and selfless. As a community, bartering, and helping each other out is vital for inclusion. Because it is definitely difficult to get by sometimes and it doesn't have to be that hard if we share what we have. That is why I help out in as many ways as I can, to give back that amazing support that I've been given. I think Couchsurfing resonates with this idea, to support each other in any way possible, and is an amazing opportunity to meet locals and experience something authentic.

Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to like all kinds of books, from classics to lesser-known works. I enjoy reading Dickens, Tolkien, Virginia Woolf, Oliver Sacks, and many others as well as Sally Rooney and Alice Hoffman.
It is the same with movies. I love monochrome movies such as It's a Wonderful Life and The Shop Around the Corner, but I also enjoy many indie and alternative movies. I am a Lord of the Rings fan for sure.
Again, I listen to all kinds of music from folklore, indie, and jazz to metal and electro.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wouldn't highlight one thing in particular. I have a solid belief that I can solve whatever I have to solve and I am persistent in that. I have made it through a lot of difficult situations and I've never given up so I guess I find that very comforting.
Teach, Learn, Share
I aspire to do research in ecopsychology and visited eco-farms and villages so I can definitely share knowledge on that as well as life in the NL and Hungary. Or anything sustainability-related I guess.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing practical tips and a real local experience as well as cooking Hungarian dishes.
