My name is Simona, I am 23 years old.
What represents me the best is that I am a searching Soul. I started to travel and look for something deeper in my life from 18. The first trip by hitchhiking was from my city Kaunas to Paris. I had no experience in this but I made it. 10days 5000km and big BIG STEP to my future trips. Why hitchhike? Because I have a brother and when I was 16 years old he started to travel by hitchhiking and I thought one day I will follow his steps somewhere on the road, no matter which side.. North, South or West. So now I have 5 years hitchhiking experience all around the Europe! I was in Northest Europe place, also near the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal and visited a lot with a backpack and tent.

But my life is not only about traveling. Now I am the 3rd course art photography student. As I told you before I am a searching Soul. Photography is a good tool to show my searchness and imagination or ideas about how I see or understand life. I will never be a carrierist in my life. I will be an artist creating something that makes me feel comfortable in this life. But not in material way. My dream is to have a little wooden house somewhere near the lake in my country or somewhere in the mountais. Because my Soul is living in the city now and missing nature power.

In the end I would like to say that I could not live without music. The big big part in my life now is Pink Floyd, RHCP, John Frusciante, Oasis, The Doors and meditation sounds. Some egzotic intrusments or nature sounds.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Why?

I was always traveling by hitchhiking and I never thought about sleeping somewhere in a hostel or visiting someone. When you decide to leave your comfort zone you do it and sleep in a tent!. And now when I am a bit older I understood that this way of traveling and living in random people houses is intresting too. It is no more into the wild but going into this you bring more memories, information back that you share with a hoster. In this way you can meet a new wonderfull people! Also I would like to host my place and to show people in what beautiful city I live. I think both sides in this game win. That's why I am here.

I hitchhiked 2500km with 3 cars from Kaunas to Paris. It was the first time I kept my thumb on the road.

I meditated in absolutely dark place, without any sound and food 36hours. After that my life changed a lot. I quited smoking, alkochol and much more.
