ABOUT ME

My dad's in the Air Force, so I moved ten times before I turned 18. I still love exploring, so I live by bus routes. I'd never lived (or even visited!) anywhere in the Pacific Northwest before coming here for college, but I'm glad I took the chance. It was by far one of the best decisions I've ever made.

PHILOSOPHY

One sentence sums it up: "You can't say the right thing to the wrong person, and you can't say the wrong thing to the right person."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and host when I have the time and the ability. I would LOVE to host you short notice, but you MUST send me a message (just posting to the last minute group won't get my attention). If I do agree to host last minute, I might not have time to rearrange my schedule for you, so we may not get a chance to really hang out.

Intereses

Going out to bars and singing karaoke, playing pool, dancing, telling stories, people watching, and/or meeting new and interesting people.

Pretty much everything you can do on or in a lake, including kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating, rafting, floating, knee boarding, wake boarding, and tubing. NOT waterskiing, but I'll gladly spot you!

Deviling eggs, napping in the sun, and making mischief. Also, being on my computer all the damn time.

I love The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother.

I love reading, both blogs and books. Some books I've enjoyed recently include Ender's Game, The Namesake, Life of Pi, etc... always looking for more new things to read! Favorite blogs include dooce.com and sundrymourning.com.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of my favorites was scuba diving with Sea Lions in Mexico. They would breath our air bubbles and brush their faces against our hands. It was incredible watching them duck and weave around us!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I have a good memory of all the best things to eat in Seattle. Whether you're looking for delicious cornbread, penne a la vodka, wildberry gelato, or coconut prawns, I can probably point you in the right direction... or go there with you!

I'd love to learn how to sew and be more handy around the house. If you want, my boyfriend and I can teach you how to make some amazing food...maybe albondigas?

Steve and I are also really into photography, so we'd love to share tips and tricks :)
