Overview
About Me
Maybe accepting maximum of two guests from only. Four easy going French, English and Nigerian live here. Some times, one or two are away traveling. So, cross your fingers and see if you can catch the next time anyone is away and you will have the room for 2 or 3 days at a time:).
I make a lot of effort to think about things I see, those happening around me and what people say and write about. I make an effort to learn about everything and have an opinion of it - I think most of them are quite balanced:) You are welcome to share yours!
I like to learn about how people experience the world, their feelings, and why they landed where they are about their views of the world. I would gladly have many conversations on this topics. I have spent a lot of time studying about the field of Physics, Business Management and Finance, and Economics and History. I have visited more than 35 countries. There is quite a bit of experience there to share:)
Cycling and running is a way of life for me. Does not life itself appear to be that?
In my day job, I work for the energy regulator in the UK.
CURRENT MISSION
Take on the fun task of living life
ABOUT ME
Born in a cold harmattan Tuesday by the gulf of Guinea, south of the Atlantic. As his father pillaged and plundered the rainforest of West Africa and the greater Sub-Saharan area, Eteka escaped his strict upbringing and spent his formative years playing mischief. After four years in a physical science laboratory, the budding scientist packed his tools and some checkered boards for California. While the beach has its benefits, the call of The Big Apple prevailed, luring the grandson of a fisherman, a son of a profoundly dearest language teacher mother, and an engineer father to New York. Life took its tool, sending him to Berlin for a year, then along road trip from Egypt to South Africa. He is taking on a new adventure in London. Will he stay? Or get the family tradition going again? You decide.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing in 2009 as I was planning to move to Berlin. At first the reason was that a friend suggested it. Next the reason became to save money on accommodation and meet people in Berlin. Over time the reason became to learn about people, learn from people and share my opinions. In the end I signed up but never used it as Berlin turned out to be affordable and quite easy to meet people. I ended up staying in Berlin for over 1 year and made lifelong friends.
