I get very excited about things very easily, am generally very cheerful, love learning languages, and love meeting new people. I always think that there's something to smile or laugh about, and it's more important who you do things with rather than exactly what you do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to CouchSurfing, but surfed several couches while traveling through Europe with friends, and ready for more!

Like everyone else in the world with music, a mix of everything, but generally I like most musicals, a lot of pop/alternative stuff, and Glee. :P

I don't really watch TV that much, but I'm completely obsessed with Doctor Who, and also like Glee and The Office.

I love love love reading, and so my list of books is way too long. But a few are: The Lord of the Rings, John Keats, The Portrait of a Lady, Never Let Me Go, Charles Baudelaire, Hamlet, The House of Mirth, Atonement, Le Petit Nicholas, Madame Bovary, Wuthering Heights, La sombra del viento

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Tobogganed down the Great Wall of China, watched the sun go down over Galway Bay, Paris in general, seen the first written words of the Spanish language, laid on the ground of the Hagia Sofia admiring the dome, sung in Spanish cathedrals and monasteries, and hopefully more to come!

I love learning languages, and I'd love to practice/help anyone with the ones I've lucky enough to speak. I really want to improve my French and Spanish, particularly French since being in Spain has kind of killed my ability to speak it. :p I know Chinese is a pain in the butt to learn, so anyone who needs help with that, let me know!
I also sing, play piano, and can make you Chinese food. :)
