ABOUT ME

i'm just your typical jane... a pisces with an artistic streak. i've graduated from college, and am working as a writer in downtown dc. i have two pretty cats named dolphin and noir, and my girlfriend has one named phoebe. we lead a quiet but nice life, watching a lot of movies and smoking a lot of pot. when i travel i'm not such a complete stoner, though. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life so that I don't have regrets. This means trusting more, giving more, and feeling more. It sometimes hurts or comes back to bite me in the ass, but to be honest, it's the only way to live.

I have a large extended family, and have stayed with friends all over the world. They are my family, and I am grateful for the bonds of the deaf community that reaches internationally. DEAF POWER!

兴趣

everything, really. i love photography, and have been doin it for a long time.. i don't bring my expensive camera along on my trips :) i''m also a cinema whore, and watch movies all the time. i love to write, draw, and read. i've been an artist since i've been able to hold a pen :)

books: mere christianity by cs lewis, harry potter (yes i'm a kid at heart), jonathan safran foer's books, david sedaris' books, the new yorker, the believer, dave eggers, etc

movies: american beauty, anything fellini, hitchock, coppola, spielberg (well almost anything), and i loved all of almodovar's films.

So many to think about. My favorite memories are usually the ones I make in YOSEMITE. been going since i was a baby and wow... I also enjoyed Whistler.. have gone many times and always have a blast whether it's summer or winter...
