Hey!! My name is Ethan, I'm still new to the Couchsurfing community and am so excited to meet new people!

I grew up in Tulsa, OK and I love exploring new places! I love music, I play guitar and sing often with friends! I'm trying to re-learn to play the piano again too. I love to hammock and swim at the lake! I am an avid fan of two-stepping and line dancing; if you have any dances you enjoy, I'd be thrilled to learn!

I really enjoy talking about religion, philosophy, and ethics with friends and sometimes strangers I meet! I'm fascinated about what shapes us individually and culturally as people, and I love getting to hear people speak about their lives!! I'd love to get to know everyone more!

I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University. I am a senior this year; after college, I plan to move out of the United States and go overseas somewhere new!

I plan on traveling through new places throughout my senior year of college! I've heard so many incredible stories of people who joined the Couchsurfing community, and I wanted to check it out!

Real, meaningful connections with people have always been one of the most valuable parts of my life, and I'm hoping to gain new relationships with people as I travel!

Oh! I love getting to share these!!

Favorite Music: I really enjoy a variety of music, right now here are a few genres and songs I particularly enjoy! This summer, I've been listening to lots of folk music, 1950s jazz (Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald are probably my favorite), country, and some pop (Sammy Rae & the Friends, Couch, that kind of vibe). Specific artists I've been listening to are The Steeldrivers, Bruno Major, Sierra Ferrell, and HARBOUR.

Having a favorite book is really tough, but I've really enjoyed reading 11/22/63 this summer by Stephen King.

Teach:
I can teach my favorite line dances and two-stepping moves that I know! I love to dance with people, and sharing that with others is so fun!

Learn:
I would love to learn how to sew! I wish I knew how to repair old/damaged clothing, and I hope to learn someday! I also would really enjoy to learn how to cook more food! My recipe collection is very small at the moment.

Share:
I am excited to share anything and everything with people! That sounds vague, but I mean sharing life experiences, sharing stories, sharing challenging moments, etc. Life is better when sharing with people!!
