About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just returned from 9 months in Europe, trying to see a bit more of what's close to home before eventually hitting the road again.

ABOUT ME

I'm 24. I grew up in West Virginia and was able to travel quite a lot growing up. These experiences instilled in me an intrinsic desire to travel and see what's over the next hill. I study at West Virginia University. and I love live music, reading, and going on adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whichever way works best for me and the people I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this, so I guess I don't have any experience.

Interests

I love music, movies and TV, I think film is an amazing way to tell stories and I love picking films apart to see what the director was thinking. Live Music is one of my favorite things to experience, any type, I just love seeing musicians create and being able to experience it in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the amazing opportunity when I was 16 to travel to Ghana for 2 weeks with my grandfather. During our time there we were working in the Volta Region to drill wells for the people living in small villages. This was an amazing experience and I returned to Ghana the next year. I hope to return again someday. One of my favorite things to do while I was there was to make balloon animals for the children in the village, it was so much fun and they loved it, I did learn however that hats are reserved for people in authority.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Colombia, France, Ghana, Haiti, Hungary, Puerto Rico, Serbia, United Kingdom
