At the risk of sounding like I'm copy and pasting from another bio on this site, some of my favourite parts of my travels have come from the people I've met. Being able to experience a new city with somebody who knows it inside out is an invaluable opportunity that I would never want to pass up! Couchsurfing is the perfect way to create meaningful friendships with people around the world.

I'm really not great at picking favourites (crippling indecision), but I'll give it a shot.

I love, love movies, and I especially love anything by Charlie Kaufman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Jaques Tati and Krzysztof Kieslowski. Also, really enjoy pretty much anything that came out of French New wave!

As for Books, "The Brother Karamazov" by Dostoevsky changed. my. life.

With music, I'm not really picky. I pretty much like it all, from jazz, to folk, to bluegrass to rock. I also have a particular affinity to Flight of the Conchords.

If you've got a guitar or a ukulele lying around, I'll be more than happy to teach you a few chords, or a song or 2! I can also offer a little camera/photo/editing workshop for anyone interested in honing their film and photography abilities.

I'll always be up for sharing a story, some laughs, a helping hand with chores around the house! I'm not an incredible chef nor do I have the greenest thumb, but I can definitely follow a recipe and water some plants if need be. It's a pretty big deal to host a complete stranger in your home out of the goodness of your heart, so I'll go as far as scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush if you need it!
