I was born and raised in the northeastern part of the United States. I have traveled quite a bit around the United States, but haven't had very much experience outside of the country. I find it very easy to get along with people. I am a quiet person, but I really enjoy conversation and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a recent college graduate who is taking 3 months off to meet wonderful people and see wonderful places. I will be starting in Israel at the end of December, and then making my way west across Europe.

Interests

I find almost everything interesting. My favorite hobbies are surfing, hiking, biking, playing guitar, reading books, etc. I am a really active person so I really enjoy walking around cities or getting into the outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite musical artists are Jack Johnson, John Mayer, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, and Frank Sinatra (among many others). I love documentaries and movies that make you think. My favorite author is John Steinbeck but I am equally thrilled to read just about anything else.

I've done solo backpacking through mountain ranges in the northeastern United States.

I'd love to improve my guitar playing (been working on it).

I'd also love to learn any history, cooking, or language that is specific to where you live.

I can teach how to play (most) sports or weight training for a specific sports!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to be a helping hand in the kitchen. I am no great cook but I love to learn and be of any help that I can. I have no problem helping to clean either! If you have a dog or cat (or any animal really) I would gladly walk it and take care of it =).
