I am a travel-starved individual that has not gotten a taste of "outside" Asia travel since 2020 (ya ya ya, COVID. Ultimate momentum killer). The takeaway from me is that, I am a person that likes to learn about the little things of cultures that are very foreign to mine.

Terribly sorry about not being able to host as I've only recently bought a house that will only undergo renovation in 2025. However, if you host me, I will offer the following in return:-

- Respectful guest. My mom always taught me to treat other people's property with more care than mine. I've since taken this to heart and beat myself up for being neglectful;
- Insight talks about YOUR culture. My culture in itself is interesting. I come from a very diverse society (Malaysia is a melting pot), but..... I want my melting pot to have more flavour, so expect me to bombard you with questions about your culture's practices, history etc.
- Even more discussions about geo-political implications of YOUR country. If you want me to talk your ear out, host me, and you will never be starved of entertainment.
- Malaysian hospitality. We are famous for this and we treat our guests and esteemed friends very well.
- Malaysian adaptability. I grew up with an "anything goes" lifestyle and culture. Relating to the point above, if people are kind enough to host us, we must reciprocate with equal hospitality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this profile because I wanted to meet new peeps from all around the world. Never really got a chance to use it in 2018 sadly, and COVID has starved me of the ability to meet new people from beyond my region. I've only heard of this platform because of the reputation it has in connecting me with other people.
