About Me

Ahoj / Hi there!

****Please excuse my profile being in English. I’m learning VERY basic Czech, though I'm not very far along.****

I hail from the San Francisco bay area in California, though I’m currently based in Berlin. I'm a easygoing, clean, considerate, respectful, low-maintenance guest. Although I don’t have much experience with the Couchsurfing site itself, I’m not new to being a guest in other people's homes.

After finishing up university at UC Santa Cruz, California, I worked for a couple years in a startup which develops software for builders to use in designing solar panel installations on homes (http://get.solardesigntool.com/), and pursued music on the side with my former band, Ostrich Unbreakable (https://youtu.be/pNar2XJA7b8, in case you’re intrigued by the name).

For roughly the past year I’ve been going after music more full time, mostly focusing on bouncy, melodic solo stuff and one-off collaborations with other artists (for example - https://soundcloud.com/ethan-miska/push-it-to-the).

I’m traveling to Prague and am looking forward to connecting with more friendly folks along the way, including but not limited to those who would be so kind as to host a dude from California for a night.

Oh, and I’m also really into castles. And really old stuff in general.

Thanks for reading!

Ethan
