A little bit about me...

Well I'm a 27 year old New Zealander, making his way around the world, in search of inspiration and genuine great experiences. I love creativity, seeing it and expressing it myself, and enjoy getting to meet people from across this beautiful blue globe of ours.

A couple of years ago me and a friend travelled across Europe for about 5/6 months. We passed through America and Canada as well, and met a lot of awesome people from across the globe . I love seeing these exciting new places, the unpredictability of travel, and learning more about myself as a person.

Last year I backpacked across South-East Asia and loved getting the chance to witness a whole other side of the world. I was inspired and humbled by the people I met and stories I encountered. The food was also incredible.

Right now I’m in Valencia hoping to meet like-minded people, learn Spanish and go on some adventures :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve had some amazing experiences meeting some awesome people through Couchsurfing so far, and would love the chance to keep meeting more exciting and interesting people. Learning about different cultures always inspires me to get back out there and travel.
I’m also hoping to host soon and would love the chance to show some surfers around my hometown of Wellington, for which there are many good spots to visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced the joy in learning another language:
Conversing with a Japanese local on a train in Tokyo for almost an hour in full nihongo! Truly fantastic experience. I've now begun my Spanish journey and look forward to engaging in full conversations in espanol :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very easy to get along with guy. Always up for a laugh, open for an adventure, and keen to make the most of this short life. You'll often find me trying to find a way to make the most of each day.

I love hearing other peoples' stories, and I'd love to hear yours. Hopefully through Couchsurfing we can create some great experiences, and friendships for the years.
