About Me
Hey! I'm Ethan and I turn 22 this year. I live in Malaysia, a cultural rich country in South-east Asia you might have heard of. Currently I am still pursuing my studies in Kuala Lumpur. Although I'm headed towards the Accounting profession, there's nothing I love more than meeting new people and going on adventures. Sure I love my family and my beautiful girlfriend more but you get the idea.
One thing I get a lot from most people is "You don't look like an accounting student". Well let me tell you now that accountants can be fun too! I recently started doing rock climbing and I must say that I've fallen in love with the sport. I do all kinds of other sports too like tennis, soccer, swimming but none of them could offer you a one of a kind view of the city you live in from 80 metres up.
Although I'm pretty chatty, I like to listen to what others have to share. I like learning what it's like to live in another country. The norms and culture, how different or similar it is to mine. Above all, I've come to value that there's always something you could learn from someone new, even new theories on what might happen in the next season's Game of Thrones. I've joined the Couchsurfing community and I'm really glad I did.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel and meet new people. I don't want to just visit a new country. I want to experience first hand how it is really like to live there. I don't think that by staying at hotels and following a tour could give you an experience as valuable as staying with someone who actually lives there.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure what I should put in this column but did you know that more people are killed by falling coconuts every year than shark attacks?
