About Me
ABOUT ME
I am 34 and a friendly and kind person, as well as deeply contemplative and creative. I love thinking about the intersection of the natural world and humanitarian/peace work--and get really excited about philosophical talks with people about the future and how we make it as peaceful, caring, and connected with nature as possible. I like design and film and art, especially on humanitarian, ecological, and rights-oriented topics. I think that we are all connected in the most mysterious ways and I love discovering those networks, whether they are through relationships, places, experiences, or beliefs.
What we do and say should be out of love for others and for ourselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a reminder that we are all connected, that we all share commonalities, that no matter who we are or where we come from, we are all beloved.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month and a half in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest doing a research project on ocelot territories. While hiking one day by myself, I got chased up a tree by 30 peccaries and was forced to cling onto a branch for 10 minutes while they circled below me.
I also spent a summer riding my bicycle from the coast of North Carolina to San Diego, California.
