Music, Movies, and Books
Dr Strangelove is one of my favorite movies. That, and V for Vendetta. I used to watch Jackie Chan's films back when he did his own stunts too.
I love Linkin Park, EDM, Japanese house music and Broadway soundtracks.
I also love Sherlock Holmes - the books, the movies and Sherlock (the British TV show). Not Elementary (the CBS knockoff) though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping and white-water rafting in Costa Rica.
Walking the streets of Cuba and marveling at the juxtaposition of Oldsmobiles and Chevrolet's from the 1960's alongside new Hyundais and Mercedes-Benz cars on the roads, admiring the diverse architecture, walking into restaurants, shops or other little dens of capitalism that people set up inside their houses, and getting a fresh glass of sugar cane juice for USD0.02 in the back alleys of Havana.
Traveling on the roads of Vietnam. If you've been there, you know what I mean - cars, scooters, motorcycles, bikes, trishaws, people and cows share the same road. All of whom want to go in different directions.
Joining Improv Everywhere in NYC for their improv pranks and stuff. You meet new people and have fun doing stupid stuff while brightening up the lives of New Yorkers.
Oh wait, was it supposed to be ONE amazing thing? Oops.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bit about good food (cheap and expensive)and rooftop bars around the City. I bartend for private events and love cocktails and mixology and exploring New York's bars. I also love the concept of speakeasies and will probably try to convince you to visit one.
For anything else, you can be the teacher.
