ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
My name is Ethan Kim. I'm Korean American taking some time off to enjoy the world. I stationed in Korea since Oct 2014 and have been enjoying life since then! I worked as a management consultant focusing on Accounting, where I found myself love traveling and meeting new people to exchange cultural values, which is why I joined Couchsurfing! I'm outgoing, easy to get to know and all about meeting new people and visiting places where I've never been.

PHILOSOPHY

YOLO - You Only Live Once! Live as if there's no tomorrow! Getting out to the world is my near future mission. Learn different perspective, attain new values of life, find my ultimate dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done couchsurfing before. I would like to make friends starting now to make visits and learn many different cultures. I hope to show Korean and American culture to many of you out there as well.

Interests

Travelling is my best interest. I used to travel 70-80% of the time for work. I enjoy wandering around to find unexpected things or people, extreme sports (bungee, skydiving, open water diving), and EAT!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've performed (guitar/singing) front of hundreds of people band. I was nervous, a bit afraid.....but once I got over it, I just wanted to do it again!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Korean and American culture. I can also teach Accounting (if anyone is ever interested in this..) and guitar! I would love to learn new language, cook authentic food, experience only what locals can do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer to share information, a place to stay (if you don't mind the sofa) in Seoul, Korea, my unappreciated Korean food....(so maybe I will just take you out to try some), and about thousand other things you want.
