Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to get in touch with people who ask for contact. Its led to meeting interesting travelers in Sydney for drinks or coffee several times in a short period.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met several Couch Surfers in Sydney in only a few days time. Seems like everyone wants to get out and meet people for drinks. Not had the opportunity to stay with people or host either, at least not yet.

I have recently been back at home and my family has hosted several couch surfers. Its been great to have more people off on their personal travels over.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and think they can be a thrilling form of art. I am one of those crazies who listens to the commentary tracks on DVDs. I can't claim any great love or interest in music; I leave that to my sister who is a jazz pianist, but soundtracks interest me. Books are things to adapt into movies. Rather one track minded of me I guess, but there it is.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you ever need any help fixing a sick computer, let me know! Its mostly a hobby, but I build extremely high end liquid cooled computers and have been getting into limited metal working to build custom cases by adapting stock units. Off the shelf Dell, HPs, or other consumer machines are certainly not beneath me though; I've worked on those too for people.

I have been asked to teach Final Cut Pro as well and have added Mac OSX and video related software to my technology knowhow.
