Overview
About Me
I used to think travelling had to be about once in a lifetime adventures and long trips to far away places. Now I know that it is something I will do forever, maybe even every other week. I work in the tourism industry and am interested in travel experiences that are cheap and free, outdoors and with minimal impact.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing as I believe it can be a more ethical and environmentally friendly way to travel. Staying in a real home is a way to engage more deeply with a place. I want that when I’m travelling and want you to experience it when you travel too.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite band is REM, favourite film is Before Sunset and favourite book is Normal People by Sally Rooney. I really love trawling through second hand books in op shops and cafes. Some of my favourite reads have come from there and I’d be happy to exchange some with you on your travels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One year I ate at and reviewed 52 fast food chains, self publishing the best as a zine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live with my girlfriend, we’ve got a spare room and would be happy to share it with the right person. We live in Wallsend, a suburb a little further away from the city, so you’ll get to see a different side of Newcastle in my neighbourhood.
