About Me

Born in Sudan and spent most of my life there, 10 years in the US, four in China. I moved to Seattle Oct 2022

I genuinely enjoy spending time talking to people. I enjoy getting to see the world from the perspective of others and listening to their stories/views on life.

Philosophies:
Travel as much as you possibly can.

Give more than you receive.

Give without expecting anything in return.

When borrowing/using something, return it in better condition than you found it.

Make someone's day better - it often doesn't take a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people! I especially love to see the good in people, and Couchsurfing allows me to do that with humans from all the corners of the world. I like offering a place to stay when I can. Also, when visiting a new place, I'd rather spend time with a local or someone who lives there and meet a new friend rather than a ho(s)tel. My best travel experiences have been through Couchsurfing!

Interests

I spend my free time on boardgames, reading, raves, bar trivia, coffee, Reddit, camping, music festivals, swimming, cooking, bonfires, and strategizing which burns I can attend this year. I recently got into HHH (on on!) and tennis. I like going to dive bars. I love watching football. Chelsea is love, Chelsea is life. I'm also a burner, plant hoarder, and Grateful Dead tshirt-wearer.

I can also teach you how to make some killer falafel!
I would love to learn about your culture and traditions! I'm very interested in other countries and their ways.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories about the contrast of living between Sudan, the US, and China (I couldn't have picked three countries more different than each other if I'd tried probably haha) and how it was shockingly different at times due to the difference in culture, norms, and development.
