I am a collection of organic molecules called Manny. Born and raised in Southern California, I’m currently residing in Portland, Oregon. Over the last thirteen years I have lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New York City, and now Portland. Next year I’m moving to Mexico to cultivate a better connection with my roots (I'm half Mexican through my mother's blood), which will also push me to continue to develop my sound as a musician, expand my artistic scope and vision as an aspiring writer/director, and to grow as an artist in general.

I'm a bit of an ambivert - I love to be around people who's company I enjoy, but I also find bliss in solitude. I don't go out much unless there is a reason to, and spend most of my time making music, watching/studying great films and directors, reading, cooking, or geeking out on audio production gear and techniques.

Lately, my creative energy has been manifesting through music (I play guitar, bass, piano, and drums), but I'm also a photographer, and I will die trying to make feature films from stories I have written.

I have worked in the craft cocktail scene for the past ten years. There was a time when I also worked in the freelance world as a photographer, videographer, and in cinema production. I hated it...

While living in Los Angeles over a decade ago, my housemate would host people from Couchsurfing.com and it was a great. I have hosted people over the past few years, and would love to continue having a living room culture clash experience.
