Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to share as much as possible with all CS members. Give as much as i can, learn, share, evolve and end up being a better person.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did not have a lot so far, but the few experiences i had were amazing and went all good. Im willing to keep on going that way.
Since I have been travelling and worked seasonal jobs for the past 2 years, I have not unfortunately made any friends on CS recently.
Now that I am settled in Marseille because of my boat interests, i got back to having my own flat which is located right next to Rond Point du Prado metro station (3 stations away from train and city center, 15min walking from the beach). Since I stopped travelling, I really miss encounters with foreign backpackers people that surely have a lot to share, this is why I got back to CS

Teach, Learn, Share
Since I speak fluent French and English and I am a very patient, I guess I could teach theses languages to people...even the less skilled ;)
The other area I am very interested in is boats in general, and boat building in particular. I would be happy to share it with anyone. I also know well my town's history, and since I was born here I can get you to very nice places. I would like to bring couch surfer to capture the beauty of Marseille and leave the city with great memories :) Because yes, IT IS a beautiful and amazing place to live even though it suffers A LOT in France from bad reputation which is largely exaggerated by the medias.
In terms of learning, I would be happy to host someone that knows about self sufficiency, living off the grid and that kind of stuff. Of course, someone interested in boats and sailing would be great too ;)
In reality, any kind of person would be a great experience to share !! I do think that encountering with people from very diverse backgrounds is an amazing richness and an opportunity to evolve, so don't hesitate and take the chance ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Like mentioned before, our flat is a two rooms located right next to Rond Point du Prado station. This is a quiet and safe location and also close to the train station where you can get shuttles to the airport (5 stations away). It is also very close to city center. We have our own room and we can accommodate hosts in the living in a comfortable couch or even a very big inflable mattress.
I am currently working fixing a beautiful wooden sail boat, (it's called Hygie by the way ;) if you want to check it up) so I will be away the major part of the day, but will be free every night from 17.30a and week ends to get out and bring you to nice places in and around marseille if you want. We have a car so we could move around using it . We also like partying so it would be great to go out together and get some drinks
