I live in Marseille since December 2021. From South-West of France, I love to meet people from anywhere in the world !
I used to work in civil engineering but now I work with non-profit organization as project manager/coordinator.

During my free-time, I enjoy to practice or watch sport, especially rugby as I come from South-West of sport where it is close to a religion. I also love sewing and embroidery. I try to do some as muche as I can and I am quite proud of the pieces I do. I am a food enjoyer. I love to eat as much as I love to cook!

I plan to travel the world with my girlfriend Marie during spring 2023. She is a lovely city-planner that enjoyes walking around to discover new neighborhoods, she also backpacked by herself through Europe during her gapyear. We are planning to travel most through Japan and New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to discuss with unknown people and discover what they want to tell me about their trips and travels. I think exchange with people from everywhere is the key to get an open mind and discover how life is around the world when it's impossible to travel for some of us.

Also, CouchSurfing is an major way to travel for people who could not rent for fency places to stay. I think it is very important for people to meet other people and culture. And it isn't always easy to do so. Sometimes it is because of money issues, sometimes it is a matter of courage or possibilities. CouchSurfing is here to help people. It helps them have safe places to sleep and it helps them to meet the nicest people in every town in the world.

I am glad that some people could host me when I needed it to discover their country and culture and I am very happy that, in return, I could help people to visit my city and make them eat my food. CS is an exchange. And it is the most imortant exchange that exists.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I listen to music I like a lot of different styles. I can listen to rap, electro, old rock and roll or french music or others, it doesn't matter and I love to discover new things.

For the movies I love trhillers but the ultimate thing for me is Lord of the Rings. My girlfriend is more of a biopic and historical movies fan.

My favorite book is 1984 and I'd love to speak about litterature with people I'll meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd enjoy to tell you that time I didn't know where to sleep in Glasgow and I ended in a party in the sub-urb where I knew no-one and had a lot of fun !

Marie's most amazing adventure was her two-months living in Greece where she met some of her bestfriends !

I'd love to share with you my cooking skills! I am always ready to learn new skills and glad to share mine! Cooking is a language of its own and I love to share about it :)
