About Me

Hi!
I grew up in Nantes which is (almost) in Brittany in the West of France. I enjoy to meet new people and learn about their cultures (and food!). I am very laid back though I am an hopeless teaser. Oh and I am also learning to play the Ukulele!

Now I finished my studies in Grenoble in the middle of the French Alps and I decided to spend time travel the world with my girlfriend. We are now realizing our dream of backpacking to South East Asia! Apart from that no plans yet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found the best time I had during my trips were when I connected with locals who made me discover their cultures. Couchsurfing is the easiest way to achieve this!
Unfortunately I don't have any couchsurfing experience yet as I just registered but I am eager to meet my couchsurfing fellows!

Music, Movies, and Books

Piouf I have broad taste but here is what I have been up to lately..

- Music : always lot of deep house alternating with some Beatles, Grateful Dead, Nirvana and songs I can learn on my Ukulele!

- Movies: anything brainy and/or weird like some Wes Anderson movies

- Books : too many to fit my backpack but never enough.. All time favorite is Le Chercheur d'Or by Le Clezio and On the Road by Kerouac. I also have a sweet tooth for self-dev books. Here is my list in 2017 : Le monde en stop by Hubler, Barbarian Days by Finnegan, What makes Sammy Run by Schulberg....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not amazing but that was very tough : I manage to finish my PhD in Biochemistry Yup!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning and I'm sure I will be learning all my life and I am open to learn what you have to teach!
I can teach French, English, some basic photography and graphic design and some hardcore molecular biology if you're into it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you the French culture: good food, good wine, smelly cheese and some of the best accordeon music you will experience. You can also make fun of my accent.
I made the best Lasagna in the world according to my Mum haha so I can cook that at least!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
