Hi,

My name is Etienne Monsaingeon, I play piano and compose music for films and commercials. After 5 years spent in Boston to study music, I am moving to Los Angeles to pursue my career.
Since my childhood I was exposed to dance, music, painting, traveling and cultures. I love meeting new cultures and I am impressed by the diversity of the world and human beings.
The most mind blowing trips I have done were in Africa. Mali and Uganda were definitely the places that changed me the most. I also created in a free educational program in Morocco in 2013 where we brought 7 artists and teachers from the US to create a bridge between Moroccan traditional music and improvisational music from North America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I feel that nowadays, technologies and internet are revolutionizing our society. Therefore I am looking for to use all the new alternative systems that empower human relationship and go away from the capitalistic system. There are so many new things like car poolin, house exchanging, Airbnb and Couchsurfing that allows new thinking about society organization.
