ABOUT ME

Hello!

My name is Hye Jin Baek, but please call me Jinny.
I'm a Korean American living in Korea teaching English and having fun.
I realize that not many people know how beautiful Korea is, especially Jeju island.
Jeju is a beautiful island.

I love travelling, talking to strangers, teaching English, taking pictures, cooking Korean... well, any kinds of food, eating, dancing, quilting, playing flute, listening to music, and the list goes on...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting people at my house and to show them around whenever possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done any couchsurfing yet but made some great friends with cs. And I'm going to meet many cs friends in Europe in few days. Too bad I've planned the trip too hastily. I would have enjoyed couch crashing some of you:)

Recently I have picked up flamenco dancing and I love it!

I love listening to music, with occasional exceptions that includes, I'm sorry for all the fans, country songs. I love opera, classical, jazz, hip hop, rock,etc. You all should try Korean pop music. :D

Movies: too many to list but my favorite, still, is the Fight Club.
Love watching American dramas. My favorite has to be... Grey's anatomy, although I'm torn between the Big Bang Theory and this one.

I love reading books, having studied English literature. But if you ask me on details, I'll just um... Yeah. So my favorite book would be pride and prejudice.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Skydiving and bungee jumping for now; it sounds lame compared to some stuff I've seen on cs.
Also I loved staying in Mongolia just ride horses all day long for a week.

I can teach you how to cook Korean food.
I can teach you how to bake as well if you have the sweet tooth.

I can teach you Korean.

There are just way too many things I want to learn to do. For example... I would like to learn how to play guitar, speak Japanese, Spanish and so on.
