About Me

Only recently reactivated my profile here, not used it at all for years, so not yet accustomed to all the changes. I would like to meet a lot of new people though!

CURRENT MISSION

I am currently plotting to take over the world for no other reason than that it would be fun and I like the idea of having minions.

ABOUT ME

I live in the northern part of Randers, which is an old town - as a matter of fact one of the oldest in Denmark, and I like this town because it's got its own charm.

I've lived here for some years, but I spend as much time as I can afford travelling around, meeting new people and seeing new things. I currently attend school, and I rather enjoy it when it doesn't stress me out.

I spend my free time reading, watching movies, taking care of my flowers, learning new things, taking photos, playing games or spending quality time with my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

This is your life, so don't close your eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just about none - with this site. I'm much in the habit of crashing with random people inside of Denmark - as well as in other countries - though. It's not uncommon and I love meeting new people. Met some fabulous people that way. Some of my best friends among them.

Interests

Books!!! Movies, photography, drawing/painting, writing, philosophy, psychology, people, life, travelling, music, theatre, musicals, flowers and much, much more. I'll add stuff when I think of it.

Books... Oh well, far too many to mention. I've read everything from Seneca to Anne Rice. I swallow more books than I want to count and I do not want to know how many I've read throughout my life ;)I can throw you some writers though, I think that'd be better: Anne Rice - Jean M. Auel - Hunter S. Thompson - H.C Andersen - Tolstoj - Dostojevskij - Philip Pullman - Stephen King - Lars-Henrik Olsen - Orwell - Svend Åge Madsen - Anais Nin - Dean Koontz - Thomas Harris - Jim Morrison - Jodi Picoult - Dennis Jürgensen - Neil Gaiman - Tolkien - Jean Paul Sartre - J. D. Salinger - Marquis de Sade - Ian Banks - Anne McCaffrey - Markus Zusak - Shakespeare - Meredith Ann Pierce - Alexandre Dumas - Reginé Deforges - Edgar Allan Poe - Seneca - Baudelaire - Dante - John Milton - Aristoteles - Epikur - Alain de Botton - Machiavelli - Douglas Adams - Ken Follett

And a couple of my favourite books: Salmon Fishing in the Yemen - Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - Catch 22 - The Book Thief - Catcher in the Rye - Franny and Zooey - Les Miserables. And many, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's been many stunning moments. I can't pick out one as particularly outstanding - I appreciate many moments for different reasons, and choosing one would mean comparing them all to each other. I like them as different moments with different sets of values.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, unless you want to learn how to make flowers grow, try to smash some paint on a canvas or have endless conversations about strange subjects, then I don't know. There'll surely be something, just not something I can think of right now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can introduce you to a lot of traditional Danish/Scandinavian food, tell you viking stories and I'm being told I'm usually quite funny. I'm also very eager to learn new things, so if we can swap traditions, food - maybe make a permanent friendship, that'd be really cool.
