About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hey! Recently moved to Montpellier, will hopefully stay here for 2 years!

ABOUT ME

Crazy about languages and different cultures and cannot wait to experience as much of it as possible! Not sure how this thing works, so I'll probably update and edit my profile as we go along! As for the time being, I'm very excited to get this thing going!

PHILOSOPHY

Ruled by the heart, quite emotive, live and let live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm still a student, a big enough couch is not one of the luxuries I can offer you right now ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Languages, fooooooood, hmmm... help me out here? |Oh yes films (European films are the best - doing my mini-memoire on Catherine Breillat! Interesting stuff. Music (not all that well informed YET!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: All French films - they just know how! - l'anatomie de l'enfer, Romance X, Amelie, Les choristes... Mainstream favs: Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, August Rush, Life as a house, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Blind Side, The Orphan. Series - Grey's Anatomy !!! Books, well, I only read Afrikaans at the moment as I believe our Literature history is still young enough to read ALL the good books written in our.. hm, expressive language! Some of them have been translated though - have a look - Andre P. Brink (Jenseits die -oder der?- Stille)in German I believe... Sometimes I like books that make you cry, really poignant stuff that'll make you weep for a week. Other times I prefer something that just makes you happy and let you realise anything is possible.
