ABOUT ME

I find the process of filling this part in quite discomforting - I shall be brief. I'm a 22 year old Scottish student; based in Edinburgh and studying social anthropology. I think couchsurfing and other such organisations are fantastic, and a genuine route to a more socially engaged, cohesive society. I very much look forward to meeting as many like (and unlike) minds as I can

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a flat in central Edinburgh, with 4 others. We can host often, but with a wide circle of friends our flat is usually pretty full as it is.

Recent favourites include Young Fathers, Howl and Chronicle of a Death Foretold. Older favourites include Led Zeppelin, A Tribe Called Quest, 12 Angry Men and To Kill A Mockingbird.

That said, there will always be special places in my heart for Frightened Rabbit and Beerfest.

The sun rising over the Negev desert one morning as I sat on a small hill and watched. I felt like I was the only person on the planet.

Everyday is a school day, especially when you are travelling. I feel that through sharing our homes, food, experiences and thoughts we can all teach other something valuable everyday. I hope to do so.
