About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel around South America, discovering all the differences and similarites of all the different customs. I hope to do it as cheaply as possible, thus hitchhicking and sleeping on couches and floors.

ABOUT ME

well.. first, im a painter, and have been selling paintings in the streets for a few years now, without having to rely on a other job. i have been living here in Buenos Aires for about two years. i really enjoy the latin lifestyle and the artistic cultural that exist. i studied math, but have drawn my whole life as well.. im super layed back, and really easy to get along with..
i try to avoid labels, but, in general i suppose im sort of a socialist, or, non-capitolist. i much rather trade or share things, ..... um.. there is more, but.. you´ll have to wait and see..

PHILOSOPHY

wow, this thing is a bit deep...
i think it is important to try to always do what you want to do.. simple. and dont be afraid of a little work and failure as well.. im also ok with sadness. and think perhaps it is more important than happiness. but, generally, im a happy guy.. i believe in love and peace. to educate the young.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

when i lived in Philadelphia, my house was registered with CS and we had numorous travelers pass through.. it was great having people over.. one of whcih liked us so much, he decieded to stay, and is now living with other my roommate..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have never surfed of the couches of strangers, but have spent a great many nights on the couches or floors, or roofs of friends and acquantances. i love the idea of seeing other peoples houses, and how they live, and staying with them, cooking food in thier kitchen.. things like that. i often leave gifts, such as drawings as tokens of my appreciation

Interests

im interested in a tons of things. in art, all types, music, (i play the harmonica) dancing, talking, silence, poetry, bicycles, speaking other languages, cooking pasta sauce, eating pasta sauce, necklaces, trees... math. ... eyes. ....education.

Music, Movies, and Books

now, im reading alot of pablo neruda. i love russian authors, and painters as well.. i can get down with almost all types of music, except country. i like most hip hop, independent hip hop that is, blues, reggae, dancehall, dub, electronic music, club music.. flamenco is super good as well.. all types.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i would say my situation now is rather amazing.. i moved here, to buenos aires, to LIVE indefinatly for LOVE of my girlfriend, who is from Chile, living here.. Without much money, and the job of a street vendor, living with someone, can be a rather amazing experience..

Teach, Learn, Share

well, i taught mathematics before, so, academically i can teach that.. but, its more about teaching by examples, and the exchange of positive energy. i am choosing to live a lifestyle, different from the mainstream, and it mainly consists of doing what i want, and trying to share and create beautiful things. i also make good pasta sauce.
