My friends have told me that I'm a good listener, and I think that's true. I'd much rather listen than talk, though I certainly have my own opinions. My mother used to call me an Old Soul, meaning that my age and physical appearance often belie and betray the depth my wisdom. I've also been called spiritual and not particularly religious in the traditional sense by my closest friends.

All and all, I'm a pensive, somewhat shy peripatetic with a bent for conversation and with a love of children and dogs. I find people of all makes and colors to be interesting, each with a unique story to tell, each with a bezel of wisdom I can learn from...

I've been given a chance and the time to see portions of the world, and I intend to do so...God-willing.
