I have been a self-employed lawyer in Southern California for the past 25 years. I am now retired from law but beginning a new career as a farmer and author. My husband is from El Salvador. We have been there three times. I have traveled to most countries in Europe plus, China, Japan, Nepal, India, Iran, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Syrian, Lebanon, Mexico, Central America, Peru, and Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea. I am by nature a frugal person and like meeting new people. My husband is not so keen on the idea but I'm trying to warm him up to the idea.

Interests

My main interest in life if the Bible, especially Bible prophecy. I also like philosophy, ancient history, ancient cultures, non-Christian religions.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is the Bible. My favorite movie is: The Emerald Forrest. When I was young, I used to like soft rock. I liked Helen Reddy and the Carpenters. Now, I like Latin and mariachi music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think passing the California bar exam was pretty amazing. I was also fortunate to be able to travel quite a bit while still young. I went to Iran, India, and Napal when I was around 14. At 15 I went on a month-long trip to the Middle East for which I also received college credit. We heard lectures by archeologist Siegfried Horn at all the major archeological sites throughout Egypt, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.
