ABOUT ME

I like to sing and dance tango argentino, salsa timba, casino rueda, musica criolla, vals peruano, chacarera. I like la cocina peruana (trujillano), la cocina mexicana (oaxaqueña y mas). I play cello, a little keyboards and a little percussion, but mostly I siiiiiiiing!

I don't have a couch for visitors yet but would like to meet up. I can show folks around San Francisco and tell folks where are good places to dance and take classes.

Interests

I would to like meet folks interested in tango, salsa timba, casino style rueda, peruvian and argentinian music, peruvian and mexican cooking. I'm interested in finding people to play tango music with or peruvian music or cabaret like music (piano and violin). I'm interested in learning tango dance. I'm interested in exchanging ideas for arranging, composing and transcribing music - instrumentation, venues, people.
I'm also interested in learning mexican and peruvian cuisine on a higher level.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a classically trained musician. I've played the oboe for 12 years, cello for 8 years and love to write/explore/compose and arrange on my keyboard at home. I would love voice lessons! or to meet people interested in playing in a group, cabaret, piano/violin, two guitars, etc. I also love to teach cooking and would love expert advice on how to cook certain cuisines.
