Hello! My name is Eugen and I am a student at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. I double major in Earth and Oceanographic Sciences/Hispanic Studies and absolutely love school and learning. I enjoy hiking, being in nature, and traveling around when I can during my winter, spring, and summer breaks. When I am not at school, I live in Las Vegas, NV, but I consider myself a citizen of the world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be in Barcelona doing some paleoceanogrpahic research at the CMIMA next to playa de Barceloneta! We will be looking at sediment cores from the ocean and testing different molecular compounds that can be used as a proxy for climate change and other processes. We also have an ongoing coral lab research in aquaria studying acidification and will be taking measurements in an island off the coast of Barcelona. I'd love to share more :)
